Attachment Parenting International

Parenting is a rewarding and challenging job. Some have said that the endeavor "takes a village" in order to be successful. After having raised 4 sons in New York City, I personally couldn't agree more. Luckily, I enjoyed the benefit of my having my husband, Mason, a retired family therapist, at my side to encourage me along the way. I'm proud to announce we've added Attachment Parenting International to our roster of new clients and you can expect to see the latest publicity news about their work in the coming weeks.

Cheers For Cheerful Givers

Star Tribune (South Extra Section) includes the following photo (in black & white) and caption:

Some Cheers for the Cheerful Givers

Gov. Tim Pawlenty honored Eagan-based nonprofit Cheerful Givers by proclaiming April 4 as “Cheerful Givers Day” in Minnesota. Volunteers, local celebrities and guests celebrated at “The Great Minnesota Birthday Party” held at the Mall of America. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and funds for the charity, which provides toy-filled birthday gift bags for less fortunate children. Pictured, from left are Matt Blair, former Minnesota Viking, Maria Kitchel, volunteer, and John Turner, former Minnesota Viking. Visit www.cheerfulgivers.org for more information or to make a donation.

Do You Recognize The Early Warning Signs of Anniversary Reactions?

Keeping The Arts Alive In Uncertain Economic Times

As uncertain economic times continue to impact arts related programs in NYC, in Brooklyn at IS 171, children are busy at work writing an original theatre production thanks to a non-profit, Arts To Grow that believes in enriching the lives of inner-city school children. The arts have always been integral in enhancing the learning process in academic subjects. Arts To Grow sends teaching artisits from a variety of disciplines into the public schools to bring creativity and excitement that would otherwise be absent as a result of budget cuts.
